Our
classes
At Wee Care Christian Academy, children learn, play, and grow in a nurturing environment rooted in Christian values. We offer full-day childcare for children ages six weeks through five years, plus before and after school care and summer camp for elementary-aged children.
Our programs use Wee Learn K1 for children ages 12–18 months and the Abeka curriculum in our K1–K4 classrooms, supporting each stage of early learning and development. Daily Bible study and Friday morning chapel visits at Myakka City Methodist Church encourage children to grow in their faith and practice kindness, compassion, and care for others.
baby room
Our baby room welcomes infants starting at just 6 weeks of age - 1 year of age. Our curriculum is based on We Learn fundamentals. Parents have the security of knowing your child is loved and cared for and is comfortably developing their sensory skills. In addition, your child's cognitive skills are developed through planned activities that encourage them to interact with their surroundings to demonstrate eagerness, curiosity, persistence, creativity, and problem-solving. Our child to teacher ratio in this room is 4-1.

Our K1 class is for toddlers 1 year - 2 years of age.
The toddler curriculum is Abeka Curriculum that helps build on the steps taken during first year of life. Our team helps build cognitive skills with many activities designed to encourage creativity and play. Our child to teacher ratio in this room is 6-1.

Our child to teacher ratio in this room is 11-1.
